Our Commitment
Our commitment to improving the environment began in 1988. Opening its doors in Blue Island, Illinois, Metro Recycling set out on a mission to improve not only the community, but also the environment. Over the next 30 years, Metro Recycling expanded by opening more locations in Northwest Indiana.
Today, Metro Recycling is still striving to help the community. Now with three locations in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area, we are dedicated to providing quality service while helping maintain a sustainable environment. At Metro Recycling, we believe that taking care of the environment involves the whole community. Metro Recycling works hard to lessen our impact on the world by making scrap metal, paper and plastic easier to recycle and more profitable for the consumer.
