Metro Recycling strives to educate the community on the importance of protecting our environment. We offer tours of our facilities to classrooms and the general public.

Metro Recycling is proud to support 41 3rd grade classrooms throughout Blue Island, Griffith and Valparaiso. Each classroom receives a “Michael Recycle” book by Ellie Bethel. The Michael Recycle program develops literacy skills as it encourages children to care for the earth.
